Towards Iowa. Division publishes the 2001 report claims
The Iowa Insurance Division (IID), the list of complaints filed by consumers against insurance companies during the year 2001.
The list breaks down complaints into six categories: Private Passenger cars, music, personal health records, group health and HMO’s, and give comparative figures for 1999 and 2000.
The IID recalled that a “complaint” is an expression of the written complaint against an insurance company. “Insurance does not distinguish between division and motivated complaints unfounded” and warned consumers “not based exclusively on the report of the complaint when buying insurance.
